Seeing what happens when Sonya never lets up on the sexy stuff is actually well done, dramatically speaking. This is a modern Family Guy episode that actually does a serious issue correctly! I'm not kidding! The idea of Quagmire meeting a woman that's as kinky as him is interesting. It's one of the most ear-grating things I've ever had to sit through, and it prevents this episode from being anywhere close to enjoyable. Think Peter's voice if the octave went up just enough to annoy you, and then it went up a couple more notches. On top of the episode not being funny in the slightest, Chip, Peter's vestigial twin, is so obnoxious. This episode is just annoying, plain and simple. The episode comes across as unfocused with a few memorable moments that are just good enough to keep this from being bad. Peter hits Chris due to his obsession with getting the treasure by the start of the third act, Lois calls him out on it and calls it quits, and it doesn't resolve until about two or three minutes later. Aside from the otherwise lacking humor, the conflict between Peter and Lois is given barely any time to flesh out. It makes no sense whatsoever, but it's a pretty clever way to incorporate cutaways into the plot.
The third is what Peter and Lois do with the cutaways at the end, with them using a normal transition to transport themselves inside the Drunken Clam. Him saying that all animals lay eggs and all the other "facts" he gives are just really funny. The second is Peter's nature documentary he made. The first was the commercial about the Hurry Up, Shrimp place. There were three jokes I found that actually gave me a pretty good laugh. Sadly, there weren't that many jokes in this episode that I found really noteworthy. I find them very entertaining with plenty of comedic potential. I usually like treasure hunting stories in cartoons. Could it really be that bad? Let's find out! Well, here we are! The season of the show that is widely considered to be the worst in the show's run so far! By this point, people proclaimed that Family Guy was at the point of no return, that there was no way of coming back from it.
